What You Need to Know

CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT MY SHOPPING BASKET?

We work with all major UK supermarkets including Ocado, Sainsbury's and Tesco to help plan and deliver your food shopping.

DO YOU CATER FOR ALLERGIES OR MEDICAL CONDITIONS?

We will discuss specific dietary requirements during your initial consultation. Please give us as much information as possible. We ask that customers also check items before consumption.

DO YOU AVOID CERTAIN FOOD GROUPS?

No, the  evidence suggests that cutting out whole food groups is not sustainable and does not lead to favourable long term health outcomes.

WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE WHAT I GET IN MY SHOPPING BASKET?

Your basket will contain a varied and healthy mix of items, based on meeting your weekly nutritional requirements, so we do ask you give everything a go.  After your first 4 weeks, you will have a follow up consultation which allows you to feedback likes/dislikes so we can tailor your shop.

DO YOU PROVIDE VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN SHOPPING BASKETS?

Yes! We can tailor your shop to cater for  these lifestyle choices and our service will give you great ideas to keep your meat and dairy free diets interesting.

DO YOU PROVIDE RECIPES?

Yes! Each week you will receive healthy recipe ideas to help make the best use of your shopping basket. However your shopping basket is designed to be versatile; allowing you to create different things depending on what you feel like - but still using the same healthy ingredients.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

My Healthy Basket can be cancelled at any time. We require a 1 week cancellation notification period. Please email myhealthybasket@hotmail.com to inform us of your cancellation.

WHAT ABOUT NON-FOOD ITEMS?

You will receive a weekly email which gives you the opportunity to request non-food items (such as cleaning products, toilet roll etc) which your family requires.

WHAT ABOUT ITEMS WHICH HAVE VARIABLE USAGE, SUCH AS HERBS?

We call this 'The Pantry'. These are items which might last a long time, such as condiments, herbs and spices. You will have the opportunity to request such items through our weekly email. We believe its better for you to monitor and request these items rather than promoting wastage by sending them at specific time intervals.
